Improved Online Giving

The Parish Council is pleased to implement an improved online giving resource via ParishSoft, a secure and proven service that is designed to meet the needs of religious institutions. ParishSoft offers stewards and donors the opportunity to completely control all aspects of their online giving and also has relatively minimal credit card and transaction fees. Once a donor establishes a personal account, he or she may select periodic or one-time gift via credit card or check. Use of ParishSoft allows convenience for the donor and receipt and recording of donations.

Great Lent Begins Monday February 27th

The preamble of the Lenten cycle began on February 5th with the opening of the Triodion and the reading of the Gospel of the Publican and Pharisee.  It is hard to believe that in 10 weeks the celebration of Pascha will take place.

The Archdiocesan website provides a number of resources during the Lenten cycle.  You may log on to http://lent.goarch.org/.

Clean/Pure Monday begins on February 27.  It is customary in our church for the sacrament of Holy Unction to be celebrated at 6:30 p.m.  There are a number of other Lenten Services that are celebrated throughout the week. Begin you Lenten preparations!

You may also log onto the Archdiocesan Website for all of the fasting periods of our church, http://www.goarch.org/chapel/calendar.

God bless,
