Consists of 28 voices with an extensive repertoire that has been developed over many decades. The Lenten music, Salutations, Holy Week and Easter alone represent almost 100 pages of music. The liturgical repertoire during the liturgical year includes music by Anna Gallos,
Tikey Zes, Frank Desby, Steve Cardiasmenos, George Raptis, Georgia Tangires, and Nancy Takis. The annual Christmas program has included composers such as Saint-Saens, Vivaldi, and Benjamin Britten’s CEREMONY OF CAROLS [with harp]

During the months of September, October, and November the choir prepares for the annual Eastern Federation of Greek Orthodox Church Musicians [EFGOCM] which is held in a different parish each year. The EFGOCM had its formation at the Cathedral in 1977 along with the choirs of St. Nicholas and St Demetrios. Many of our choir members worked diligently in the early development of this federation and served positions on the executive board including president, vice-president, secretary, and treasurer.

In 2005, a concert was presented by the choir in celebration of the Cathedral’s Centennial with over 700 people in attendance. This talented and versatile choir also has members who sing for weddings and many have served in the choir for over 40 years.
